Look what the tide brought in! In episode 95, we discuss "The Snoopy Show", season 3, episode 1. This episode features sandy beaches, a bit of thievery, and a license to print joy and laughter. Not a bad way to kill an hour or so.
We've also got some news and feedback and a "Random Strip of the Month" provided by Luca Debus, illustrator of the forthcoming "Funny Things: A Comic Strip Biography of Charlies M. Schulz".
Thanks to Sean Courtney for the "This Month in Peanuts History" theme.
Thanks to Nick Jones for the use of his song "25% Off".

When you think of Peanuts, what's the first thing that comes to mind?
Wrong!
Obviously, the answer is Shermy! The OG Peanuts superstar! Peanuts wouldn't exist without him. If that October 2, 1950 strip was just a boy and girl silently watch a round-headed kid walk by, also silently, it's unlikely Peanuts would have become the cultural icon it is today. I mean, at least Shermy thinks so probably.
In this episode, we take a few minutes to break down who Shermy Plepler was and his impact (Or lack thereof. Let's be honest.) on the strip.
We also look at This Month in Peanuts History for June and watch another "Peanuts by Schulz" titled "The Mysteries of Love".
Good grief! That's a lot of show! Join us, won't you?
